We might be new kids on the block, but that does not stop us from making a start. It took us many cups of black teas, and a large number of idlies on campus to get this far, something that we are all proud of.
This chapter at BMSCE began in the month of July, and has been constantly growing in its popularity on campus. Our campus has been, and surely will continue to be abuzz with discussions on new possible designs that can implement, new areas in automobiles that can be forayed into among others. Should you over hear words like aero foil, aero design, and Maryland, you now know who started it.
SAE-BMSCE has conducted a number of activities on campus. We conducted an introduction lecture on SAE, a lecture on Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics, a chuck glider competition, and a number of industrial visits. It is the interest that our fellow students show to learn that simply keeps the team going.
